Nails Of The Day (NOTD): Wait Until Dark

Today’s NOTD is doubly amazing: it’s of great quality and it was a freebie! It’s the Ciaté Paint Pot in Wait Until Dark.

The September issue of Marie Claire comes with two freebies: a Ciaté Paint Pot (worth £9) and a travel size Dove Intense Repair Conditioner, which I am still to try. You can choose between a darker and a lighter nail varnish colour, and I chose the darker one called “Wait Until Dark“.

The packaging is so pretty, with a little black bow in front of the bottle. Quality-wise, I was amazed at first sight! The rich purple/violet colour is so intense, and best of all, it dries pretty fast. I was happy with one coat, but I ended up applying a second coat, just to be sure.

Under natural light you can see lots of little shades of purple in it, but at low light, it kind of looks more like a brown-ish purple.

I’m so tempted to go back and buy another magazine just to get the other colour. It’s worth it for £3.60! And I’m definitely already a fan of Ciaté after only one paint pot!
