NOTD: Bourjois 10 Days No Chips Nail Enamel #18

Today’s Nails Of The Day (NOTD) feature a recent purchase of mine, the Bourjois 10 Days No Chips Nail Enamel in #18.
This nail varnish has a pro-silicium formula that helps protect your nails from chipping and make them 2 times stronger. I do believe that the pro-silicium formula works, but I’m still not sure about making them stronger; I’ll let you know!
It firstly caught my attention on the self because of the gorgeous deep blue colour in the bottle – definitely perfect for autumn/fall – and also for having an unusual angled brush instead of the traditional flat brush.
Bourjois claims the angle on the brush helps touch up any chips on your nails, but I must admit I prefer the traditional brush. The angled brush just made the application a bit messier for me!
With 2 coats of this nail varnish, you get such a deep blue colour with silver micro-glitter, which is barely noticeable, unless you get really close. However, the effect you do see is incredibly shiny nails!
Overall, I’m very impressed with this nail varnish. I’m sure this is my first of many Bourjois nail varnishes to come!

I love bourjois nail varnishes because of their brushes, i loved the 1 second brush, but this angled one is just perfect for me. I have a square nail bed and it makes things so quick and neat… it was a little messy at the start, just getting used to it, but now, i can apply the colour so quickly… i bought 4 colours already and i wish they had more of a range. Just finished painting my nails in their brown colour, so autumnal!
