REVIEW: Maybelline Dream Touch Blush (with swatches)

Hey girls, today I’m reviewing a couple of Maybelline Dream Touch Blushes in the shades Berrry (#06) and Plum (#07).

The Looks

I like the cute round pot with the colour of the lid matching the shade of the blush. The packaging looks very sleek and expensive, and my only complaint is that you can’t find the name of the shade you are buying on the actual pot. It tells you the shade number, but that says nothing about what sort of colour that blush is.

The Contents

Please forgive the state of blush #07; I’ve been using it for about two weeks. This is a cream blush, very easy to blend and it will give you a naturally flushed look. Despite it being sheer at first, you can definitely build up the colour by repeating the application until you are satisfied with the result.

I like using this blush when I don’t have much time to apply my makeup, because I can just use my fingers to quickly add some colour to my cheeks, or when I don’t want to look too made up, but still want to look “alive and well”.

The Verdict

Overall marks: 9/10 –  I’m very pleased with both shades and I would definitely recommend this to anyone! If you have a medium to tan skin colour, they will both look good on you, but if you have fair skin, I’d use the Berry shade (#06) lightly, as it may be a bit intense on you.

These look so pretty and I’ve swatched them in store a few times with the intention of buying but I’m just not loving all the glitter! The glitter doesn’t seem to translate on your face though and it just looks pretty, I might have to give these another chance x
