Nails Of The Day (NOTD): Disco Ball

I’ve been looking to a buy a glitter nail varnish for a while, and during a late night visit to Tesco I may have found just what I was looking for!

I bought the Rimmel I Love Lasting Finish Nail Polish in Disco Ball. It’s a clear nail varnish with blue and silver glitter and I thought it looked really sparkly and pretty in the bottle, so I had to have it! :)

I applied one coat of Disco Ball on top of my matte pink Accessorize varnish and I’m really, really liking this combo!

It’s not too ‘over-the-top-in-your-face’ glitter, but it still gives your nails a lovely sparkly touch. The application was smooth and I was happy that the applicator didn’t come out with chunks of glitter. You can build up how much glitter you want by applying more coats, but I was happy with just one coat.

Even my boyfriend who never notices when I have nail varnish on my nails, said he liked this one. I’ll definitely wear this more with other shades, especially with a blue nail varnish because I think it would go really well with the blue and silver glitter.
