REVIEW: Schwarzkopf Repair Rescue + New Hair Routine

I have tried so many different shampoos, conditioners, and other hair products from different brands, in the search for “the one” that would win me over and have my loyalty and faithfulness forever. That’s why I was so thrilled when I got sent some products of the Schwarzkopf Repair Rescue line to try.

The Looks

The bottles are quite big and sturdy. You get 250ml in the Shampoo, 200ml in the Conditioner and 75ml in the Sealed Ends leave-in. The downside is that it can be quite bulky to travel, but you can always transfer it to a small travelling container.

The Contents

Schwarzkopf Professional is a favourite brand of many hairstylists, including mine. This definitely boosts up it’s credibility since “salon hair” is what we’re all looking for, isn’t it?!

Repair Rescue is a line designed for people with damaged hair, so it was perfect for me. I wanted to give it a proper review, so now that I’ve been using it for the past 3 weeks, I can safely say I’m amazed with the results and Schwarzkopf has changed my haircare routine.

After rinsing my hair twice with the Repair Rescue shampoo and once with the conditioner of the same line, I towel dry my hair and apply a pea size amount of the Sealed Ends leave-in conditioner to smoothen and detangle the hair. I also add a tiny bit of Macadamia Oil Treatment to the ends of my hair to finish it up before any blow drying and styling.

The Photos

These 4 products make my hair look and feel shiny, healthy and soft, without weighing it down; I’ve only been able to achieve such results in a salon before, and I’m so happy I can finally get it at home now!

The only downside for me is that I have to wash my hair more often now (every other day, instead of every 2 or 3 days) because my hair is getting oily quicker, which is a price I’m ready to pay to have shiny and healthy hair. If you’ve had the same problem, let me know so we can find out if most people have noticed their hair getting oily sooner, or if it was just me.
