September Favourites!

Forgive me for being so late to put this up, but here we are! Another month, another favourites post :)

So I’ve been loving quite a few things this month and a lot of them were completely new to me. I’ll separate them into categories to make it easy to browse through all the products.

Skincare

Witch Cleansing and Toning Wipes – I needed something urgent and I picked this up in Boots one day just to see if I likeed it. It doesn’t sting my eyes (like most wipes do) and it doesn’t leave my skin feeling oily or greasy. It’s also very inexpensive, so I’m glad I got this and I would repurchase this. The only downside is that I don’t think it completely removes my waterproof mascara and eyeliner, so I have to use another cleanser or a cotton bud to remove it fully!

Colbert M.D. Nourish Eye Cream – This little gem came with my September Boudoir Privé box and I’ve been using this every night after cleaning my face. I have noticed a huge difference under my eyes since I starting using this cream; I hardly have any under eye bags unde and the dark circles are a lot less visible. Do be careful not to touch your eyes with the product on your fingers because it will make them sting.

Babor Extra Firming Cream – I got this sample in my August Boudoir Privé box, so I guess by now you must have realised that I’m loving the boxes! I use this cream after the Colbert eye cream and I spread it all over my face with upwards motions. I haven’t actually noticed any of the firming properties of the cream, by it does make my skin feel really soft and velvety in the morning, so I’m loving that!

Shea Butter Hand Lotion – This was a recent purchase because I have really dry skin, and with the weather taking a turn for the worse here in Britain, my hands are one of the first things to look dry and  horrible. I like the smell of this lotion, it’s moisturising, but not greasy, so it really does the job and I’m pleased with it :)

Makeup – Face

MAC Prep + Prime Skin – Lately, I’ve been obsessed with this primer again and I’m kind of liking to use this on its own for a natural look. If you want to read a full review I did on this primer a while ago, click here.

Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer – I’ve done a review of it (read it here), and honestly, I haven’t been able to find a better concealer that matches my skin colour perfectly. I won’t rave about it again, so go check out my review if you want to see photos of what it looks like on the skin.

bareMinerals Tinted Mineral Veil – I use this as a powder to set my makeup after I’ve applied foundation and concealer. It looks completely invisible on the skin, whilst giving you a natural glow, matifying your face and making it feel really soft. I’m absolutely in love with this and it is a definite staple in my makeup bag!

Soleil Tan De Chanel Moisturizing Bronzing Powder – I’m so glad I bought this bronzer because it looks amazing! It’s subtle, very flattering and it doesn’t make me look orange at all. If you want to see more photos of it, please check out my luxury haul blog post, right here.

bareMinerals Full Flawless Face Brush – If you haven’t tried this brush yet, go check it out! Seriously, this is the best brush for applying any powder to your face. The bristles are extremely soft and big, which is great for really blending powder into your skin. I cannot recommend this enough!

Maybelline The Falsies Mascara – This is an all time favourite of mine, it has been in my makeup bag for absolutely ages and it’s not leaving anytime soon! It’s the best mascara to achieve length and volume on your lashes and it’s really cheap. You really can’t go wrong with this one :)

Makeup – Eyes

VIVO Ultimate Brow and Eye Kit – If you haven’t heard of VIVO yet, it’s a new drugstore brand only available in Tesco stores. This brow kit is so amazing and easy to use to achieve natural looking eyebrows, but I’m not going into too much detail about it here because I’ve prepared a great review for you guys, so stay tunned for that!

VIVO Trio Eyeshadow Palette – This is the perfect palette for autumn/fall! The colours are really pigmented and gorgeous, and you don’t need anything else to create a natural eye look or even an evening smokey eye. Like I said earlier, stay tunned for my review of this palette coming soon :)

Makeup – Lips

Rimmel Kate Lasting Finish Lipstick #08 – This is a matte and incredibly pigmented plum/pink lipstick. I’ve reviewed it a few weeks ago, so if you would like to know what I think about it, and to see swatches, please read my review here.

YSL Rouge Volupté Lipstick in Spicy Pink #20 – I have literally used this lipstick almost every day since I got it and it’s safe to say that it’s my all time favourite lipstick, no doubt! I’ve raved about it on a review post (read it here), so I won’t bore you again, but if you’re looking for a great lipstick and your budget can be stretched a little bit, I definitely recommend buying one of these!

Nails

Zoya Nail Polish – This is the most gorgeous purple with pink undertones and gold duochrome nail varnish, and I think it’s perfect for autumn. I also got this in my September Boudoir Privé box, so if you want to see more photos, click here.

Hair

Schwarzkopf Repair Rescue Shampoo, Conditioner and Sealed Ends Leave-in – I was kindly sent this by the guys at Immediate PR, and I couldn’t be happier with the way my hair looks after using this trio for a couple of weeks. I’ve already prepared a review of these three products combined with an updated hair routine for you guys, so keep an eye out for that soon!

Macadamia Healing Oil Treatment – Another product from the September Boudoir Privé box, another winner! I use this on damp hair, before blow-drying it and it makes my hair feel so soft and nourished, but it can also be used to deep condition your hair. I’m not sure whether I prefer this or the VO5 Miracle Concentrate, which I talked about on my August Favourites (read it here), but it’s definitely a great oil for your hair.

Reading

Sophie Kinsella ‘The Tennis Party’ – I’m nearly at the end of this book, and I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for something really girly and fun to read! If you want to read a summary and a few of my impressions about this book, click here.

Accessories

iPhone 4 Pink Bling Case – This was a recent purchase but I already love it! It’s so girly and fun, and hey, it’s pink! To see more photos, read my TKMaxx haul here ;)

Wow! I feel like this was the longest blog post ever, so I will stop writing and say goodbye now for the sake of mine and your eyes. I hope you enjoyed it and let me know what things you’ve been loving in September :)
