TKMaxx Haul: Jumper, Flats and Bling

Last week I did some spur of the moment shopping (oopsie!) and here is what I got from TKMaxx:

The first thing that caught my attention was this lovely pink and black stripped jumper / sweater. I’m not a huge fan of baggy clothes on me, so I normally would pass straight through the jumpers section, but this one looked quite form-fitting, so I got it to try and see if I liked it.

Turns out I do like it and it is totally my style! Because of the pink stripes, it made me look alive and well, which is great on some dull autumn and winter days. The jumper is really comfortable to wear, although it felt a bit prickly on my arms until I kind of got used to it! I also thought it looked good with black skinny jeans, so I’ll definitely be getting a lot of use out of this baby :)

Next up was this totally girly pink bling iPhone case! So far I’ve been quite conventional with my iPhone and had the normal see-through acrylic case, but it’s about time I got some cuteness on my phone, right?

I’m sure these gems will start to fall off pretty soon, and the case was a bit expensive (£8) to be honest, but it’s so cute I couldn’t resist!

Last but not least, I got these dusky green ballet flats, which I was seriously surprised to have found. For those of you who don’t know, my shoe size is a UK size 2 (EU 34.5, US 4.5, BRA 33); since I have incredibly tiny feet, I hardly ever find size 2 shoes in the UK, so I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw these flats lying there.

Despite it saying on the sticky label that they were a UK size 2, on the bottom of the shoes, it says it’s a UK size 3; all a bit confusing, I must say, but I got it anyway! After trying it on, and I’m really pleased with it – it’s comfortable to walk around and sturdy. Even though I now think they are a UK size 3, the elastic part at the back holds my feet in place, so it’s all good! ;)
