Biotherm Aquasource Eye Perfection Cream Review
Eye cream: something I’ve always wanted to try, but never did because I had no idea which one to buy, until I received a sample of the Colbert MD Nourish Eye Cream in my September Boudoir Privé box and fell in love with it. But this review is not about Colbert MD, is about an even better eye cream I’ve recently discovered.
Biotherm Aquasource Eye Perfection (£22.50) – Boots
Ingredients: Hydra non-stop complex, caffeine, manganese, calcium, pure extract of thermal plankton.
It’s the Biotherm Aquasource Eye Perfection cream. It’s a 15ml plastic tube and it costs £22.50, which is not cheap, but in comparison with the hefty price tag of £90 for the Colbert MD cream, it’s pretty reasonable.
According to Biotherm, this is the first 360 degrees hydra-massager, an eye massaging tool containing 3 massaging balls designed to leave your eye area feeling moisturised, smooth and brighter. I’m definitely a sucker for little gadgets and gizmos, so I was pretty excited to give this quirky little thing a try.
The cream is a clear gel containing thermal plankton, which left my under-eye area with a refreshing, almost tingling, sensation that I found quite pleasant and relaxing. It doesn’t have a strong smell and it’s absorbed quickly by the skin, leaving the area with a soft texture to the touch.
I applied the Biotherm cream at night, and when I woke up, there was a noticeable reduction of the dark circles and puffiness under my eyes. Seriously, this stuff is amazing, I am impressed! Is it worth the £22.50? Absolutely! I actually got this at the Handpicked Media event a few days ago, but I will definitely repurchase this soon.
Biotherm Aquasource Eye Perfection is available now from Boots for £22.50 (link here).

I’m really bad for not using eye cream and I know I should start, this looks good! xx

Yeah, I started quite late as well, but now I’ve seen the improvements, I never want to stop :) xx

I really liked this too but I think it was a bit strong for me! Made my eye area really dry for some reason!

That’s a shame! That didn’t happen to me, though. Have you tried the Colbert MD one? It’s much creamier than the Biotherm one; I found it too greasy for me, but maybe that will be better for your skin! :) xx
