I'm constantly trying to increase my snooze time in the morning, and that means less time to get ready for the day ahead. That's when this 'pick-me-up' makeup comes in handy because it's really quick, easy and it gives you a natural healthy glow, perfect for work or school.
Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation (£9.99 - buy it from Boots)

bareMinerals Warmth All-Over Face Colour (£16.15 - buy it from Feelunique)
MAC Patina and Carbon (£11.50 each - buy it from House of Fraser)
Maybelline Cat Eyes Mascara (£7.99 - buy it from Boots)

Because I wanted this look to be natural and healthy looking, I started concealing my under eye circles and some blemishes, then I applied a light layer of foundation only on areas where I have some pigmentation to even out the skin tone. I then applied a very small amount of Mineral Veil on my T-Zone to remove some of the shine; if you apply too much powder, you won't achieve the healthy glow we're looking for in this look.
Instead of bronzer and blush, I applied my bareMinerals Warmth to give me a bit of colour and define my face, without looking too made up. If you are quite pale, this will probably be too dark for you, so choose a lighter bronzer instead.
I kept the eyes very simple, focusing on brightening the eyelids to freshen up my complexion. I used Patina all over the lid, a skin toned colour with tiny flecks of shimmer. Because I didn't want any harshness on the eyes, I lined my upper lash line with black eyeshadow instead of gel or liquid eyeliner. Finally a bit of mascara to separate my eyelashes giving them just the right amount of volume, and a pink toned shimmery lipstick.
Hope you are all having a great Sunday and I'll see you on my next post!
Au revoir!
Ysis
Where else to find me?
