Christmas Eve Outfit & Makeup: A Little Black Dress and Classic Makeup
Dress: River Island
“It’s the most wonderful time of the year!” On Christmas eve I went to a local pub with my boyfriend and few friends. Fortunately it wasn’t as cold as last year, so I could afford not to wear tights. I love the slimming effect of this little black dress; it comes with a belt to define the waist, the 3/4 lace sleeves cover the arms just the right amount, and it was the perfect length for a shortie, like me!
My shoes are a Christmas present from my boyfriend; they are stilettos with a gorgeous gold snake skin design and a platform at the front. Oh, and surprisingly very comfortable!
As for makeup, I kept the gold theme that was going on my shoes and jewellery, with a bit of brown to warm up the skin. I lined my upper lash line with gel eyeliner to define my eyes, and finished it all with a pink lipstick.
Not a very exciting look, I’m afraid, but it’s classic and timeless! I don’t like to go crazy on my makeup when I know I’m having a lot of photos taken… It kind of saves the regret when you look back on your photos a few years later :-)
I hope you all had a lovely Christmas eve. Let me know what you chose to wear and if you have a blog, leave your link below so I can have a little nosey of your photos as well :o)
Au revoir!
