Foundation LOVE: Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Foundation

I’ve been going through quite a lot of foundations over the past 2 months (expect a ‘foundation collection’ post soon!), and I’ve found some truly amazing ones. My most recent ‘foundation love’ goes to the Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Foundation.

I’m already a big fan of the Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer, which is my all-time favourite concealer, so when I saw this foundation I thought, ‘why in heavens haven’t I tried this yet?!’. This foundation is priced at £5.99, which is an absolute bargain for such a great quality foundation, and my shade is ‘#6 Golden’.

It comes in a glass bottle, which gives it a very sophisticated look, and it has a pump for easy application. Yay! It has SPF 20 in it and it’s oil free. If there was an option to buy this foundation with no SPF in it, I would have declared this the best foundation of all time! But don’t worry, it does come very close to the title!

It is of very thick and creamy consistency, and rather pink-toned. I’ve got yellow undertones on my skin, so at first, I thought it looked quite scary on my hand, but after I blended it in, it suited my skin really well, giving me a healthy bronzy complexion. Also, my hands are darker than my face, so that’s why it looked like that.

I’m wearing it on the photo above, and as you can see, it doesn’t look as scary as it did on my hand. I’d say this foundation is medium to full coverage, and I would compare it to Estee Lauder Double Wear, with a little less coverage.

This has been my go-to foundation whenever I want to be sure my makeup looks good and stays put all day. My face looks flawless, smooth, and not cakey at all. Have you got an idea of how much I’m in love with this foundation?! :-) If you’re looking for a good, affordable, medium to full coverage foundation, this is it!

I do love this foundation but it was just to dark for me! If they make a paler one it would be perfect!!

I was looking at this foundation today! But I went for the Collection 2000 Perfect Finish instead as I’ve been using it for a while now! Good to read a review on it, maybe I’ll try it next time then!
