MAC Satin Lipstick in Snob (Review and Swatches)
MAC Satin Lipstick ‘Snob’, £13.50 (Debenhams)
Another addition to my ever growing collection of MAC lipsticks! MAC describes ‘Snob’ as a ladylike mauve (whatever that means), but on me I would describe it as baby pink with mauve undertones. It’s one of the most pigmented lippies of my entire MAC collection and it’s seriously long-lasting.
Because this lipstick is completely matte, the satin finish is not the most flattering, as it makes my lips look so fake, like something out of a cartoon. If I’m a little bit more tanned, it just looks ridiculous! So, if you’re a MAC NC35+ skin tone, I would definitely layer another lipstick or a lip gloss on top of this lippie to make it look more natural on your lips.
Unlike most of my matte lipsticks, in terms of formulation ‘Snob’ is pretty amazing at not drying anymore of my already dry and chapped lips. I’m definitely impressed!

blue tones really don’t suit me so I use MAC angel, reminds me of snob but less blue! xxx

I feel a bit self-conscious sometimes, so I mix it with a lipgloss to tone it down a bit :) x

I think it would be a tad bit too light for me… but then again you can always fix that with a gloss or something :)

Mauves have never really suited me, I think i’m just a tad too yellow :( But Snob is just gorgeous, I think i’ll have to go to MAC to swatch it ..

I dont care how light you are,it still looks a pepto bismal mess. NC35 is very light…im an nc15 and wouldnt wear that

I thought getting a MAC Cremesheen tube of Love & Cherished on line, from a discontinued source would be easy–not so! I find it hard to buy lipsticks, especially a light purple/lavender/lilac light shade that still shows color on my lips. I have light skin and loved this shade–still have the old tube but down to the end now. I’m reading the comments here regarding the shade, Snob. I am forever buying “pink” shades that are too dark or else can’t even see on my lips. This shade, Satin Lipstick Snob, seems to be one I might wear. Is it a current shade I could find at Nordstrom’s MAC counter or is it discontinued also?
