New Purchase: Uncle K Bag Linha Semente

A couple of weeks ago I went to Rio and whilst window shopping, I feel in love with this bag (as you do!). It was love at first sight, but the hefty price tag and the fact I didn’t know the brand at all put me off a bit from buying it there and then. So I went for a walk, and after a few hours I still couldn’t get it out of my mind. I finally gave up and went in the shop to have a good look at the bag.

It’s the Uncle K Linha Semente bag, and it’s a sandy colour with dark brown details and handles. It’s made of a sturdy nylon material and the medium size (32×25,5x14cm) allows to easily take it from day to evening. The two pockets at the front with the brown and red detailing and the wide sides make it look so chic and professional, and also the fact that it’s a structured bag really appeals to me. The only downside is, because it’s such a light colour, the nylon material can get dirty and damaged quite easily, so I have to be extra careful with it. No putting it down on the dirty floors of the London tubes, that’s for sure!

After doing a bit of research, I found out that ‘Uncle K’ has been around for over 15 years in the Brazilian market, having built quite a good name for themselves over the years. The brand sells a variety of products, but their mostly know for their handbags, which are simply stunning.
