Victoria’s Secret Beauty Rush Lip Gloss in ‘Bubble It Up’ (Amazon)

One of the perks of being back home at my mum’s, is going through her makeup collection and finding these little gems hidden away. This lip gloss was one of a few things I found that deserve a proper review here on the blog.

It’s the Victoria’s Secret Beauty Rush Lip Gloss in the shade ‘Bubble It Up’. Or at least I think this is the shade because there was no name in it, so I had to look up on the Internet, and from the swatches it looks like ‘Bubble It Up’.

The shade is light pink with sparkles, but on the lips it comes out really sheer with a lovely hint of pink. The formulation is creamy, extremely moisturising, but rather sticky. Probably not the best lip gloss for the combo windy day + long hair, but I’ve been obsessed with how shiny it makes my lips look. It also smells and tastes delicious! This particular lip gloss doesn’t have SPF in it, but there are others from the same collection that come with SPF 15.

I haven’t been this excited about a lip gloss since I got a Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss about 3 to 4 years ago. To me, Victoria’s Secret hit the nail on the head with this one. Granted, it is pretty sticky, but that’s about as bad as it gets! I’m guessing my mum’s had this for quite a while, because I can only find it on Amazon (here), ranging from £8 to £9, but ‘Bubble It Up’ is currently unavailable. If you want to buy one of these, I’m guessing your best bet will be the Duty Free shops.
