When I’m home doing nothing I tend to let my skin breathe a bit. So I ditch the makeup, put all my hair up in a bun and relax in comfy clothes. However, when I’m doing work from home, I like to do the same things I would do if I wasn’t at home to motivate me, otherwise I’ll just chill out the whole day being completely unproductive.
So I still put on a hoody to feel comfy and warm, but I need a bit of makeup to feel ready for the day ahead. Nothing too much because I hate feeling uncomfortable when I’m working, just a clean base for the face, a moisturising lipstick, a couple of eyeshadows and some eyeliner.
I know it may seem silly, but it works! Whenever I feel ‘ready’ at home, I tend to do more work. Don’t ask me why, but hey, if it works, I’ll keep doing it. Now all I need is a cup of tea :)
So what do you think of my ‘working from home’ makeup? Do you have any motivational ideas to stay productive whilst working at home? Do you do similar ‘silly’ little things to motivate you?

I admire you for having the motivation to work from home, I couldnt do it, I would get less done than I do in the office and would probably sit on my bum all day eating and watching Jezza Kyle ha :-)

Ha! I know, I find it hard as well, especially because if you’re working from home, your home stops being a relaxing place. I probably would get much more done in the office, but I just love working comfortably, with my feet up, and my pjs :) xx
