I’ve got a busy day ahead! I was lucky enough to be one of the winners of a competition promoted by Amazing PR to win 2 tickets to see Ghost The Musical in London and get a Nazilla Love Glamour Nail Glitz Manicure. So you know the drill after you receive that sort of news: excitement; panic looking at the wardrobe; last minute online shopping madness; up at 7am to wait for the parcel before leaving to London. Phew! I’m so excited to see the musical and get my Nail Glitz manicure. I promise to tell you all about it when I’m back!

But I couldn’t leave before doing a quick post for you guys :-) This is the outfit I wore yesterday and I quite like it. It’s pretty basic, but that’s the beauty of it! Sometimes when I try too hard to put together a great outfit it doesn’t look as good as a simple black and white basic outfit.

I went for trousers instead of jeans or leggings, which is an odd choice for me, but I had just found these trousers I got about 5 years ago, and I saw it as my challenge to see if they still fit me… oh yes, they did! I went to tell my boyfriend, all excited and he couldn’t care less. Oh well! Only a girl can understand the joy of realising your clothes from 5 years ago still fit, right?

The highlight of my makeup is this bright coral lipstick I picked up the other day in Sainsbury’s. It’s the new Max Factor Colour Elixir Lipstick in ‘Pink Brandy’, and I love it. I’ll definitely do a proper review with swatches and all very soon.

Anyway, I’ll stop rambling and start packing for London. I hope you all have a great weekend!
