Outfit: River Island Glitter Print Skater Dress
Dress: River Island Glitter Print Skater Dress via ASOS
This is the story behind this dress: I went over to ASOS to buy a last minute dress to wear to a night out in London with my boyfriend, but I wasn’t sure if I would like the incredibly form-fitting dress I had chosen, so I ordered this dress as well, just in case! Skater dresses are my fail-safe option whenever I’m not feeling 100% with my body; they are super flattering and they have a girly/cute look which I love.
At first, when I saw this dress I didn’t think I would like it, then I tried it on and I thought it was an ‘OK’ dress, nothing special. So I paired with my good old Primark belt and suddenly I fell in love with the dress. Ahh the power of a belt. Bless! :) Unfortunately I don’t have a full body photo showing my shoes, but I choose some black peep-toe heels and a black clutch with gold details.
Blush: Sleek Makeup Blush By 3 in ‘Crochet’ (Sleek Makeup)
Lipstick: YSL Rouge Pur Couture in ‘Rose Carnation’ #11 (Debenhams)
For my makeup, I literally only had 10 minutes to do it. So I went for my MAC Woodwinked eyeshadow all over the lid, and a YSL lippie. I also debuted my new blusher from the Sleek Blush By 3 palette I got when I was in London. I’m wearing ‘Crochet’, and it is absolutely gorgeous!
What do you guys think of my outfit? What’s your fail-safe kind of dress? Let me know :)
Au revoir!
Ysis
