Lush Christmas 2012: My Picks!

Lush Christmas 2012: My Picks! | Le Beauty Girl

Lush Christmas 2012 | Lush website

I’m totally in the mood for Christmas already; I have a Christmas candle burning, I’m doing a Christmas Countdown challenge (find out about it HERE), I’m wearing Christmas socks, and I’ve also been enjoying baths with some products from the Lush Christmas 2012 collection! I absolutely love Lush, especially during Christmas time; they always bring loads of fun and creative products, so I thought I would show you my favourites from the Christmas 2012 collection :)

Lush Christmas 2012: My Picks! | Le Beauty Girl

Ponche Shower Gel (Limited Edition)*, £4.25 / 100g (HERE): This is a brand new product that Lush brought out especially for Christmas, inspired by traditional Mexican punch; it contains orange juice and a shot of tequila! Sounds crazy? I thought so too; but don’t worry, you won’t get out of the shower feeling drunk and you won’t smell like you’ve been drinking all night either. Lush describes it as ‘bright, boozy, fruity and uplifting’; I like to use this shower gel in the morning, as it makes me feel refreshed and ready for the day. This is definitely something to put you in the festive mood (if you’re not already)!

Santa’s Sack Bubble Bars*, £4.15 each (HERE): This is the cutest thing ever! Even though you can use it all at once, each of the little presents and the sack can be used for a separate bath. How cool is that? You essentially have three bubble baths in one product! :) Scent-wise, they smell of fizzy drinks and zingy fruits!

Lush Christmas 2012: My Picks! | Le Beauty Girl

Party Popper Bath Bomb*, £2.95 each (HERE): This has to be my most favourite of the entire collection; swish or drop it in your bath and enjoy the show! It quickly changes the water into bright pink and blue with the most amazing tangerine smell and popping candy. As it fizzles, it also releases confetti into your bath made from honeydew melon and soap, which you can use to wash you skin; it creates a real party in your bath!

Lush Christmas 2012: My Picks! | Le Beauty Girl

Snow Fairy Shower Gel (Limited Edition)*, £3.50 / 100g (HERE): This is already a firm favourite of mine, dressed up in a cute pink and yellow starry limited edition label. It’s pink, it’s glittery and it smells of candy floss; what more can I ask for? It’s also the Lush No1 bestselling Christmas product!

Lush Christmas 2012: My Picks! | Le Beauty Girl

Let The Good Times Roll Facial Cleanser*, £5.95 / 100g (HERE): I have a love/hate relationship with this one; I love what it does to my skin, but I hate the smell and the fell of it! First off, it has actual bits of popcorn in it; not my favourite thing to put on my face, if I may say, but there you go. The consistency is very thick, but it doesn’t feel rough on the skin, which I like for a scrub/cleanser. I had to literally hold my breath whilst scrubbing this all over my face because I just couldn’t stand the smell; it has a sickly smell of polenta, caramel and cinnamon. Yuck! However, my face felt super duper soft and nourished after using this, so I guess I’ll just have to keep holding my breath, after all, it’s all about the results, right?

So these are my picks from the Lush Christmas 2012 collection. Check out the Lush website (HERE) to see the full collection; I particularly have my eye on the Magic Wand Bubble Bar (HERE) and the cute Sandy Santa Sugar Scrub (HERE)!
