Christmas Challenge: 30 Lipsticks in 30 Days #10 Studiomakeup Lipstick Truly Red

First, let me apologise for being so late on the challenge; the past few days have been incredibly hectic and blogging had to take a back seat. Fortunately I was able to take some pics before starting each day, so today I will give you an overdose of lipsticks to catch up – stay tunned for the blog posts to follow! Lipstick #10 is another red one; shocking, I know, but after having so many lovely comments on my first red lippie of the challenge (HERE), I had to have another go at a red lipstick. This is the Studiomakeup Rich Hydration Lipstick in Truly Red, a moisturising orange-toned red lipstick.

Compared to the Rimmel Kate #01 red lipstick I featured early on in the challenge, I find Truly Red much easier to wear because it has a glossy formulation. It’s also much less vampy and it wears off quicker than the Rimmel one. All in all, it’s a pretty good lipstick and I‘m pleased to say I did wear it out of the house – Hooray! – but not quite; I removed most of the colour with a tissue and left just a hint of colour :)
