Christmas Challenge: 30 Lipsticks in 30 Days #14 MAC Speed Dial
Long time, no lipstick! Considering that this was a Christmas challenge, it’s safe to say I failed miserably; nevertheless, the show must go on and I’m finally back with 18 lipsticks left to finish the challenge, and then the part that we’ve all been waiting for: the GIVEAWAY! So enough of me rambling, let’s get on to today’s lippie!
Lipstick #14 is MAC in Speed Dial, a blue-ish bright pink with golden sheen in a cremesheen formula. Because it has blue undertones and golden sheen, I think it’s flattering on both cool and warm skin tones, which is why I really like this lipstick. I rarely wear this lipstick as bright as it can be; instead, I like to dab it lightly onto my lips until I’m happy with how it looks.
In fairness, Speed Dial is not a very moisturising lipstick, and I struggled to apply it on my lips today because they’re so dry, but it’s a lovely shade and you know me, I’m a sucker for pink shades :) The colour payoff is quite good and it comes out semi-opaque with a nice sheen to it.
