Christmas Challenge: 30 Lipsticks in 30 Days #18 Laura Mercier Lip Colour Creme Coral
Lipstick #18 is a new launch and already a new love! It’s the Laura Mercier Crème Smooth Lip Colour in Crème Coral* (HERE), a warm corally peach shade with pink undertones. It’s matte and super long-lasting, probably not the most moisturising lipstick, but in comparison with my other matte lipsticks, this one doesn’t highlight the dryness on my lips as much.
The pigmentation is fantastic; if applied to its full potential, on my lips the colour can turn to a brown-ish peach shade. However, when applied lightly, it turns into the most gorgeous peachy pink shade, very complementary to my skin tone. I seriously think this is the most flattering peach lipstick I’ve ever tried and I seriously need to check out more shades from this range; it’s love!
Laura Mercier Crème Smooth Lip Colour in Crème Coral*, £20 – Space NK
This lipstick is part of the Laura Mercier new Spring 2013 Arabesque collection, which is incredibly beautiful; I particularly have my eye on the eyeshadow palette and the Creme Cheek Colour! For the rest of my makeup I went for a new easy smokey eye technique I learnt, which consists of a brownish gold eyeliner pencil, a golden eyeshadow and a matte brown eyeshadow; my current favourite look!
