Review: BlanX White Shock Toothpaste with LED Light (Before & After)
BlanX White Shock Toothpaste with LED Light*, £7.49 HERE
Introduction
A while ago I reviewed the Blanx Advanced Whitening Toothpaste (HERE) and showed you guys some ‘Before and After’ shots, which were quite impressive considering this was such a gentle and non-abrasive treatment. Today I have yet another innovative launch from Blanx to share with you.
About
It’s the BlanX White Shock Toothpaste which accompanies the BlanX MicroWhite LED Activator Light. The toothpaste itself is non abrasive and it contains a new ingredient called ActiluX, which reacts to light and naturally whitens your teeth; ActiluX is deposited on the surface of your teeth and remains active throughout the day. The toothpaste doesn’t contain peroxide, which means it’s safe for your gums and sensitive teeth.
LED Light
Now the best part about this kit is this nifty little thing called BlanX Microwhite LED Activator Light, which slots into the toothpaste tube, and when you open the lid, a blue LED light shines out of the tube. The purpose of the LED light is to strengthen the whitening power of ActiluX in the toothpaste; the more LED light the toothpaste receives, the more it intense the whitening power will be. The LED cap is reusable, so when you’ve finished using the toothpaste, remove the cap and keep it to use with another tube of BlanX toothpaste. Because the LED is designed to work with ActiluX, it’s recommended to use the LED only with the BlanX White Shock formula products.
Results
According to BlanX, this system will whiten teeth from first application; I don’t know if it’s because the ingredients are so delicate to the teeth, but I didn’t notice any change during the couple of days. From day 3 onwards, I noticed some improvements and my teeth felt absolutely fine. Here are the before and after pictures 1 week after I started using this toothpaste:
Overall, I’m very impressed with the results! The difference is visible; even though I didn’t have very yellow teeth to begin with, the ‘after’ shot shows just how much brighter they look now. I’ve not experienced any sensitivity and the toothpaste tastes nice and refreshing. I would highly recommend this if you’re looking to safely and gradually whiten your teeth, and don’t mind waiting a bit for results.
What do you guys think of the BlanX White Shock Toothpaste and the LED Activator Light? Have you tried any teeth whitening products at home or professionally? I’d love to know!
