Now that Summer is officially over, my lips are the first to feel the effect of cooler winds. I swear by the classic Carmex Moisturising Lip Balm (HERE), as it’s moisturising without being greasy, soothing and refreshing on the lips. The latest launch from Carmex is their tinted lip balm, which is really the best of both worlds.

The Carmex Moisture Plus Ultra Hydrating Lip Balm is a sheer tinted lip balm, which contains Vitamin E, Aloe and it’s SPF 15. It comes in Pink, Peach, Berry and Clear, and the packaging is super compact. The formulation is pretty much the same as the classic Carmex lip balms; super hydrating, glossy and it has a soothing feeling from the moment it’s applied onto the lips.

Although these tinted lip balms are sheer, they actually leave some colour on the lips, contrary to some other tinted lip balms I’ve tried in the past. The shades I have are Pink and Berry; my favourite of the two is Berry, a super wearable sheer red colour.

I would highly recommend the Carmex Moisture Plus Tinted Lip Balms! They are reasonably cheap and for dry/chapped lips, there’s really nothing like Carmex in my opinion.
