Jane Iredale 24-Karat Gold Dust*, £11 | Look Fantastic || Birchbox || Beauty Time Therapies

Pigment eyeshadows can be very tricky to work with, but the results are almost always worth it; especially if you don’t get caught after you dropped some of it on the creamy white carpet – oopsie daisy! My favourites have been the Barry M Dazzle Dusts, mainly because they are affordable and perform really well. I actually wore one of them on my wedding day, to add an extra bit of sparkle!

The Jane Iredale 24K Gold Dust is one of those multipurpose products that you can use on the cheeks, lips hair, and eyes. The powder is finely milled and very shimmery; they come in 7 shades: green, gold, silver, bronze, champagne, rose gold and aquamarine. The shade I have is ‘bronze’ and I thought it looked pretty as a pigment eyeshadow.

I love how versatile this product is; you can pack the colour for a more intense look or apply a tiny amount to add just a bit of delicate highlight to the look, which is what I did. I applied a matte warm brown eyeshadow (UD Naked & Buck mixed together) as a base, and dusted the 24K Gold Dust all over the lid.

I’m really impressed with these and I think it’s totally worth getting it. Next time, I might try it on my hair; I think it will look really pretty. What do you think?
