November Favourites 2013

November Favourites

It’s that time of the month: November Favourites! :) I have no idea how many times I said the word ‘Christmas’ during this video, but it was a lot! My husband and I are putting our Christmas tree up today, so I’ve ordered a bottle of mulled wine and some mince pies to put us in the festive mood – not that I needed any help to feel Christmassy! My favourites this month were very hand-picked and they are all so worth the money! I hope you like the video and, as always, all the links are down below.

    I LOVE Pink
Swoon – wear it on daily basis!

The loose powder by Giorgio Armani, does it fit fair skin as well? The 00 one
is very white, but is the powder transluscent? I’d love to hear more about it.

Pink Swoon is one of my favourites; I often forget I have it, but whenever I find it, I fall in love with it :)

I’m not sure if the 00 shade of the powder is translucent, but I’d say the 01 is suitable for fair skin because the particles are so fine and it’s definitely lighter than my skin.

Hello Ysis! I am not new on your channel, I started watching
your videos and reading your blog nearly a year ago but I’ve never taken the
time to write a comment to say how much I love your channel! I’m taking the
time to do so now because I’ve realised you take the time to film and write to
share your experience and give us beauty tips so writing a nice, short comment
is the least I can do to thank you :) I really like watching your videos
because I have the feeling you’re a truly sympathetic and positive person, or
at least that’s what comes out of your videos :) Despite the makeup, you always look natural
and the looks you film are always elegant, nothing “trash”. Plus, you
speak very clearly (which is quite important to me given that I’m a French
speaker lol) (btw, I also speak a little bit of portuguese… seems like we have
some common points ;) ) Anyway, keep up!! :)

What a thoughtful comment, Melissa! Thank you very very much :)

I’m truly happy to hear you like my blog and videos, and I’m lucky to have lovely readers like you.

Thank you for your compliment on my makeup looks :) I’m a big fan of the ‘less is more’ saying when it comes to makeup.

Oh, você falar português também! Que legal :) Where are you from?

Thank you again for taking the time to leave such a nice comment; I really appreciate it!

      Take care! Ysis xx

        You’re welcome! :)

I totally agree with the ‘less is more’ in makeup issues ;)

Regarding portuguese, I still need to improve (I graduated in translation, portuguese is my fourth language so my knowledge of this language is not as goog as for the other ones but I really like this language)

I live in Belgium (I read you had come to Belgium for your honeymoon… Hope you enjoyed it ;) )

        (Sorry for any mistakes)

        xx
