Last weekend I headed down to the Worcester Victorian Christmas Fayre, which is something I’ve been doing every year since I met my hubby. It’s my most favourite Christmas event and I look forward to it all year round! We arrived there at about 2pm and managed to find a space to park near the city centre; we had a little walk by the River Severn towards the Cathedral, then we headed straight back to the fayre, as there was no time to be wasted – the mulled wine awaited!

We met up with the rest of the family and enjoyed spending some quality time with each other; we wandered through the Christmassy streets, had one too many mulled wine glasses, then I managed to find an opportunity to snap a few pictures of my super cute Christmas Pudding Jumper from Next*. A few people did look at me like I was a bit crazy, posing in the middle of the busy street with a Christmas pudding on my jumper, but hey, it’s Christmas and that was my #NextmasMoment :) The jumper is the cutest thing ever; it does come quite big, so I got mine in a size 6. I love how festive it is without being too over the top!

It didn’t take long to get dark, and that’s when the true festive atmosphere began! All the pretty lights and Christmas decorations came to life; it’s a truly magical place to go during this time of the year! Of course, we couldn’t leave without having a hog roast sandwich, so we headed back to the food stalls near the Merry-Go-Round (which was playing some of my favourite Mary Poppins songs) and chose the biggest one we could find – yum!

The last stop before driving back home was the High Street; we had a little look inside some of the shops, I bought my Maltesers Advent Calendar and had a cup of Chai Latte with lots of cream from Costa. We said farewell to Worcester until next Christmas and headed home with lots of lovely memories :)

Have you ever been to Worcester Christmas Fayre? What’s you favourite Christmas location? :)
