Airbrushed Complexion with Dior Airflash Foundation

The Dior Airflash Spray foundation, which I have already reviewed here, in a nutshell, is an airbrush foundation, medium to high coverage, really lightweight, with a flawless and airbrushed finish, and best applied directly with your fingers or dabbed onto the skin with a brush like the Real Techniques Buffing Brush.

I truly love how flawless my skin looks with this foundation without feeling heavy! Granted, this is probably a bit too heavy as an everyday foundation – so is GA Luminous Silk, but hey! – but it is pretty darn beautiful on the skin. I thought shade 300 would be too dark for me right now, but it was surprisingly ok once I blended it. The majority of flawless finish foundations, including this one, aren’t totally invisible on the skin, but they really do photograph beautifully. I think this is definitely a Red Carpet and special occasions foundation!

For the rest of my makeup, I went for a subtle highlight with the MAC Lustre Drops in Pink Rebel, and a matte smokey eye with the Sleek Oh So Special Palette. I did something slightly different on my lips; I dabbed a little bit of the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Lipstick in Peach Club then applied the Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss in Pink Afterglow over the top.
