Vote For Me? :)

Asking for any kind of favours makes me feel really awkward; I’m one of those people who would rather burden themselves with all the responsibilities and tasks of the world than bother other people asking for favours or help. Is anyone else like this? I’ve always thought this was a good personality trait, meaning that, I’m very aware and careful of being an inconvenience to others, but I’m starting to think that, maybe, just every once in a while, it’s ok to ask other people’s help – you never know, they might actually be happy to help! So that’s what I’m doing here today… but before, let’s have a little chat about blogging and whatnots, shall we? :)

As most of you already know, every year, Cosmopolitan hosts their Blog Awards, commending bloggers all over the UK for their hard work. Gone were the days of the ‘blog versus magazine’ divide, and I’m glad that we’ve learnt that it doesn’t have to be one or the other – we can coexist! Blogging is easy in theory, but in practice it takes a lot of hard-work to run a successful blog, so I’m glad to see the blogging community getting some recognition in the media!

The Cosmo Blog Awards is probably the most well-known award currently given to bloggers, and I’ve had the honour of being nominated a couple of times. It’s such a surreal experience and it makes me feel really proud of myself – thank you so much if you’ve voted for me in past! Now the Cosmo Blog Awards is back for another year and I would be ever so grateful if you could take 2 minutes to nominate me. Of course, that’s if you enjoy reading my blog and you think I deserve it :)

Like any other blogger who’s serious about growing their blog and making it the best it can be, I spend a lot of time on my blog. In fact, when I’m not blogging, I’m usually thinking about blogging or coming up with ideas for new posts and videos. I think my love for beauty & fashion helps, but in the end it’s all down to commitment, effort and passion.

I really do work hard to keep up with the latest trends, to improve the quality of my pictures, to make my blog easier to navigate, to bring new content regularly, but I’m still, in essence, exactly the same person I was since I started this blog in June 2011. Certain parts of me have changed over the years, and my blog has evolved with me, but I’m glad that my style of blogging has stayed pretty much the same, and I hope you guys like that too! :)

So this is the part where I awkwardly ask for your help!
