Collection 2000 Bronze Glow Face & Body Bronzer

Most of the times I go to Boots, Superdrug or even the beauty section in Tesco and I know exactly what I want to buy. As it happens, I always come back with much more than what I had planned. Shame on me! From one of my last trips to Tesco, I came back with this little gem.

Collection 2000 Bronze Glow #01 Sunkissed (£4.19) – Boots

It’s the Collection 2000 Bronze Glow in the shade #01 Sunkissed, and it retails for £4.19. A negative point I’d say is that the packaging looks very cheap and it made me doubt whether or not I had made a good purchase.

Now for the positives, this bronzer can be used for both face and body, and the shade I got was a light shimmery colour, which is perfect for adding a bronzing glow to your skin. I like to use this on top of an SPF foundation to cancel the ‘ghost-face’ effect on flash photography, or when my foundation is slightly too light for me, so I buff a bit of this bronzer all over my face and, voilà – perfect complexion!

It is quite shimmery, so if you’re looking for a matte bronzer this is not for you. But if you want a lovely healthy glow finish on your skin, don’t worry, the shimmer is not too overpowering! I have naturally medium toned skin and this works perfectly for me; if you’re fair or medium fair, this might be a bit dark for you.

I’ve found myself reaching for this bronzer almost everyday, and I even wore it on my Graduation FOTD (photo below) on top of my Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua foundation. I honestly can’t recommend this enough! If you can put up with the cheap looking package, this is a great bargain!
