As we’re having a pretty rubbish Summer in Britain, I’ve had to find alternatives to what I had in mind for my Summer attire: flip flops and beachwear. This is a look I’ve been wearing a lot lately because it still feels quite summery having my legs out and all, but the boots shelter them from chilly winds. Some may say I’m in the denial wearing a skirt in this horrible weather and calling it ‘Summer’, but I’d rather think I’m optimistic :)

I love my ‘frilly skirt’, as my boyfriend tends to call it! I got it last year from Gilly Hicks, and I just think it’s super cute and a great length for shorties like me. The pink top is an oldie from Primark, and I’ve worn it so much that if it had legs, I think it could walk on its own. The brown suede boots are from Sainsbury’s, of all places, also from last year.
