Christmas Challenge: 30 Lipsticks in 30 Days #06 Maybelline Watershine Candy Pink

Today I was experimenting with some bridal makeup looks, and I pulled Lipstick #06 from the back of the drawer because I thought it would be perfect for this look. It’s the Maybelline Watershine Lipstick in Candy Pink (#50), a sheer baby pink lipstick with bits of shimmer.

I know I own a lot of pink lipsticks but this is the sheerest and most moisturising of them all; it’s such a thin consistency that it almost feels like applying water to the lips. I love this lipstick for warmer months and I think it’s a great colour for brides because it’s very subdued, but at the same time it brightens the face, giving that extra glow that all brides should have on their wedding day. I’m definitely considering wearing this one for my wedding :) Unfortunately I think this lipstick has been discontinued, so I’ll try to save it as much as I can for my wedding. For a more in-depth review click here.
