Christmas Challenge: 30 Lipsticks in 30 Days #11 Loreal Caresse Dating Coral

Lipstick #11 is one of my favourite coral lippies! Even though this is more like a lip butter than a lipstick, I think it’s definitely worth investing if you want something inexpensive for the daytime. It’s the L’Oreal Rouge Caresse in #301 Dating Coral (how cute is that name?), a moisturising pinky-coral lip butter/lipstick.

This lipstick is weightless; I can hardly feel it on my lips! It’s very nourishing and it leaves a lovely sheen on the lips. The Rouge Caresse line has often been compared to the Revlon Lip Butters, but in my opinion the L’Oreal ones are much better than the Revlon ones. They’re supposed to be sheer, but for a lip butter the pigmentation is surprisingly good (much better than the Revlon Lip Butters!); they do require a lot of touching up, but I really recommend these if you want a pretty wash of colour on the lips, especially for work or school. Dating Coral is my favourite shade of the Rouge Caresse line!
