Autumn Style: The Denim Shirt

There’s only one thing better than Christmas: the lead up to Christmas! The anticipation, buying presents, wrapping up warm, Christmas movies 24/7, and of course, the seasonal coffees and teas. This outfit is inspired by an Autumn day out shopping for Christmas presents; the casual-ness, the comfortable-ness, the autumn-ness –  I love everything about it!

There isn’t really a predominant colour in this outfit; I basically chose neutral and complementary tones of brown and beige, with black jeggings and the blue denim shirt, which is the main piece of this outfit; it’s casual, comfortable and trendy, warm enough for Autumn, but not too thick that it will make you hot whilst walking around with several shopping bags on your arm. I love the way the shirt is fitted because it accentuates the waist and looks more feminine.

The boots are the perfect heel height for a day out shopping – not flat, but not too high – and the handbag goes nicely with the boots. The cardigan is so slouchy and cosy, and it’s a great contrast with the fitted shirt. My favourite Autumn hot drink is hands down the Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte; I’m obsessed with it! Yum :) I also like deeper and spicier fragrances for Autumn/Winter, and one of my favourites is Dior Hypnotic Poison.
