I picked up these two pieces last weekend and have been waiting for the perfect opportunity to wear them. Generally, that would mean a lovely sunny day, but I got tired of waiting, so I decided to debut my outfit on the most miserable day ever! Oh well, at least it cheered me and everyone else around me up.

I love love love the fit of these jeans and I’m definitely coming back for different colours. They are just great to wear with plain t-shirts and completely transform the look from dull to awesome! This 3/4 length semi-sheer top was also a great addition to my wardrobe; it’s comfy and flattering, what more can I ask for?!

For my hair I did something a little bit different than my usual. If you follow me on twitter or instagram, you may have seen a picture I posted earlier saying I had decided to experiment with a middle parting and lots of volume on my hair. What do you guys think? It’s a bit scary having this sudden change from a side swept fringe and flat hair, but I have received a quite a few compliments today, which is always a good sign, right?
