Bourjois Little Round Pot Eyeshadow (Review & Swatches)
Bourjois Little Round Pot Eyeshadow, ‘Taupe Paillettes’ (Amazon) – ‘Beige Rose’ (Boots | ASOS)
This is another little bargain duo from TKMaxx. I find that Bourjois eyeshadows are a bit hit and miss; sometimes the pigmentation is so disappointing, but other times they are rather good. Both shades on this duo complement each other well; I can see myself using the lighter shade all over the lid and the darker one on the crease to create a quick smokey eye.
Bourjois Little Round Pot Eyeshadow in ‘Taupe Paillettes’, £4.99 Amazon
Bourjois Little Round Pot Eyeshadow in ‘Beige Rose’, £6.49 Boots or £4 ASOS
Unfortunately the pigmentation on both of them is a bit disappointing. The shadow pretty much disappears with a light rub, leaving the glitter behind. The incredibly chalky texture is also a bit of a let down, which is a pity as I love the colours! ‘Taupe Paillettes’ is very adequately named, a taupe brown shade with fine silver shimmer, and ‘Beige Rose’ is a gold champagne shade. The little round pots are super cute, especially the Paris themed design on the front of ‘Beige Rose’ :)
I haven’t yet tried to create a look with them, but I promise to share it with you guys as soon as I do :)
What do you think of Bourjois eyeshadows in general? Do you own any of them?

I have picked up a few Bourjois bits in a set from TKMaxx too. I got their 1001 lashes mascara (didnt like it) a lipgloss that i gave away & a shadow in beige rose, thankfully this i did like and us is more as an all over lid colour to sit under my main shadow. I agree their makeup is hit and miss.

Exactly my point. I just don’t know if it’s worth the investment. Their foundations are amazing, but I’m not sure about everything else! x

So true. The packaging is definitely what sells this product. Shame the pigmentation is so poor :( x

Foil it then :D use water with the shadow it will pick up the glitter and it will be more vibrant :D

I have the darker eyeshadow & I agree, the pigmentation really isn’t very good & disappears after the slightest touch xx
