No, I did not grow luscious long blond hair overnight – this is all an illusion, but one that will give you a Zoella ponytail in 2 minutes! April Fools… fooled ya! :) If you, like me, can’t help but fan-girl over Zoe Sugg’s beautiful ponytails & fishtail plaits, let me introduce you to the Foxy Wrap Around Ponytail Hair Extensions*.

This is much like any other clip-in hair extensions that we’re all familiar with, except it already comes pre-arranged for a ponytail or fishtail plait. In order to get “the Zoella-effect”, choose a clip-in ponytail lighter than your natural colour, which will give you that gorgeous ombre pony that Zoe can pull off so well. I chose the colour Choco Blonde which is perfect for the ombre effect on my hair. Obviously mine will never look as good as Zoe’s, but I like it anyway! :)

• Tie your natural hair into a ponytail or a bun, as low or as high as you want your ponytail to be;
• Slide the comb behind your hair tie;
• Wrap the piece around your natural pony or bun and secure it with the velcro strip;
• To hide the velcro, use the curly piece of hair to wrap around your natural ponytail;
• Secure everything with bobby pins.

These extensions are synthetic, which means they are not made out of real hair, but they are made out of Natura, the first heat resistant fibre, so you can still use your hair curler on them, with a temperature of up to 200 degrees Celsius. It’s not recommended to use a hair straightener on them. The hair is 18 inches long, and you can choose from 13 colours – Black, Brown Blonde, Butter Scotch, Cappuccino, Chestnut, Choco Blonde, Dark Chocolate, Gold Blonde, Light Gold Blonde, Mahogany, Medium Brown, Spring Honey and White Blonde. You can also choose to buy it as a ponytail or as a fishtail braid.

I think these are super cool and not all that expensive. This is your chance to reveal your inner-Zoella! Hey, after putting on these extensions, you may even fancy buying some guinea pig pets… :) Jokes aside, I really admire Zoe and I think she’s a true inspiration to girls all over the world.
